Response

Correct, and it is presented as the sharpest difference rather than a fault. Its value is practical: Scientology presents itself as compatible with other religions, and some members identify as both Christian and Scientologist, so it is worth showing that the system has no place for the Christian claims about Jesus. Hubbard’s own statements about Jesus in the upper-level materials are dismissive, which is documented and stronger than an argument from the FAQ’s silence.
