Terms of Service
Effective date: September 28, 2026 Operator: Apologetics.Pro (“we,” “us,” “our”), which operates apologetics.pro (the “Platform”).
Our purpose
apologetics.pro exists to make the case for the Christian faith freely available to anyone - believer, doubter, or skeptic. Everything here is free to read, with no account of any kind, ever. If you spot a gap or a mistake, or want to propose something new, you can say so anonymously, and a moderator reviews it before anything changes.
These Terms are the agreement between you and us for using the Platform. By using apologetics.pro, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Editorial standards, which are part of these Terms.
1. Who may use apologetics.pro
- Reading is open to all, with no account. Class pages, evidence, common questions, and handouts are free to read and download by anyone.
- Suggesting or correcting content requires only a working email, confirmed by a one-time link, so a moderator knows a submission came from a real, reachable person. No account is created, and none exists anywhere on the Platform.
2. The space, and how to treat it
This is a space for honest engagement with contested questions of faith, evidence, and doubt, whether you’re proposing something new or correcting something you think we got wrong. By submitting a suggestion or correction, you agree not to:
- Submit content that harasses, threatens, demeans, or attacks people.
- Submit hateful content targeting people for who they are.
- Submit spam, advertising, scams, or repetitive off-topic submissions.
- Submit sexual content, content harmful to minors, or anything illegal.
- Share others’ private information (“doxxing”) or impersonate anyone.
- Attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
The full standard lives in the Editorial standards, which you agree to follow. We may decline, edit, or ignore any submission that falls short of it.
3. Curated content vs. your suggestions
Everything published on the Platform - the classes, evidence, common questions, and handouts - is our own curated content, written or approved by us. A suggestion or correction you submit is never published automatically: a moderator reviews it, and if they act on it, the content that goes on the site is written or edited and approved by us, in our own voice. Submitting a suggestion does not create a public post, thread, or profile of any kind.
4. Your submissions
By submitting a suggestion or correction, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, adapt, and incorporate it into the Platform’s content, with no obligation to credit you, use it, or respond. You confirm you have the right to submit what you send us.
5. Our content and how you may use it
The Platform’s classes, written evidence, common questions, site design, and text are owned by us or used with permission. Handouts and teaching materials are free - free to download, and free to share and redistribute for non-commercial ministry, teaching, and personal study - provided they are not sold and attribution to Apologetics.Pro is kept. All other Platform content (class text, written evidence, and site design) is All Rights Reserved unless stated otherwise. You may link to any page freely.
6. Moderation
Every suggestion or correction is reviewed by a moderator before it can influence anything on the site; nothing you submit becomes visible to other visitors on its own. We aim to act on submissions promptly. Moderation decisions are ours to make; if you believe one was in error, you may contact us at privacy@apologetics.pro.
7. Availability
The Platform is provided free of charge. We do our best to keep it running but do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. The content presents the Platform’s perspective on matters of faith and evidence; it is offered for study and discussion and is not professional legal, medical, financial, or licensed pastoral/counseling advice. If you are in crisis, please seek appropriate local help.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apologetics.Pro and those serving it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or content, arising from your use of the Platform. Because the Platform is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is zero.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apologetics.Pro from claims arising out of content you submit or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, give notice on the Platform. Continuing to use apologetics.pro after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the courts located there for any dispute, to the extent permitted by law.
