Hubbard’s own upper-level teaching on Christ
One exhibit from the free evidence repository at apologetics.pro.
In the confidential Class VIII “Assists” lecture (#10 in the series, October 3, 1968, recorded aboard the Apollo), Hubbard taught that Christianity derives from an implant he called R6, saying “the man on the cross, there was no Christ.” A written Class VIII bulletin from the same month (HCO Bulletin, 23 September 1968) states that the church “invented Christ.” The OT VIII materials repeat the implant explanation, attributing the sainted figure Jesus “has been made out to be” to the R6 implant. These are Hubbard’s own words in materials documented through court records and leaks, and attested in published scholarship.
