Objection · Case 02 · Resurrection of Christ
Inviting readers to go and ask the witnesses is empty. Corinth was eight hundred miles from Jerusalem. Nobody was going to check.

Response
The distance is real, but Corinth was not isolated. Paul founded the church there, it received visits from Apollos and from Peter’s associates, and it had members who traveled to Jerusalem. More telling, Paul’s opponents in Corinth and Jerusalem, who challenged his apostleship on almost every other point, never challenged the appearance list. If the claim had been easy to falsify, Paul’s enemies were the people best placed to do it, and there is no trace that they tried.

The summary lists specific people said to have seen Jesus alive: Peter, then the twelve disciples, then more than five hundred people at once, then James, then all the apostles, and last Paul…
Under Claim 02: People who knew Jesus reported seeing him alive after his death.
