Earlier medical reversals: vaccination and organ transplants

Blood is not the first medical teaching to reverse. Watchtower literature opposed vaccination and then left it to individual decision in The Watchtower of December 15, 1952 (p. 764). Organ transplants had been left to conscience in 1961. The Watchtower of November 15, 1967 (p. 702) then condemned them as a form of cannibalism, and they were returned to individual decision in 1980.
